Summary
Frankly it’s a stupid idea, but Jason’s apparently known for his stupid ideas, including one which everybody in his ex-family has claimed led to his own death. Victim-blaming and general classism aside, yeah well if nobody’s going to treat Jason Todd like an adult or a hero — he thinks that he doesn’t need to be a hero. And ergo — Jason’s free to make stupid choices. Like getting into bed with Slade Wilson.

Summary
Jason isn't quite sure what he's done in his past lives to deserve this. No matter how hard he fights for it, all good things must end, it seems. Apparently, for him that means a life alone, filled with an endless fight against the evil of the planet. But his latest mission hits just a bit too close to home.
Or: Jason listened to Ducra and stayed with the All Caste instead of returning to Gotham. But after the caste is wiped out and he hears news of the Red Hood terrorizing his hometown, he can't escape the pull of his past anymore.

Summary
The more he watched Jason sharpen himself from the whimpering, tormented prisoner into a deadly weapon, the more he felt the desire to wield him. Sure, if they succeeded in their mission, it would certainly benefit his paycheck greatly and he would get the chance to take out more than one valuable target in the process but if he was honest, the true reason he followed the Arkham Knight to Gotham was because he wanted him.

Summary
Jason has had Slade's phone number for a while. Either Deathstroke keeps his business and personal contacts on the same device, or he gave Jason his personal number from the beginning. Or, possibly, he lets Jason sext his business phone.
There's no good option, really.

Summary
"Where are we? I can't see-" the kid above him whines.
Even as annoyed as he is, Slade doesn't actually want to antagonize the other man too much. They might be stuck here together for a while after all. But that doesn't mean he isn't going to derive a bit of sadistic pleasure from getting to inform Red Hood just exactly where he's managed to end them up.
"We're in a coffin." The kid's breath hitches and Slade feels his body stiffen.
"And based on the fact that the shoveling noises have stopped I'm going to guess we're approximately six feet underground.”
