Summary
Ciri, after a heated argument with Geralt, flees into the wilderness, finding herself lost and alone. Eventually, she stumbles upon Lettenhove at Essate where she faces trouble for trespassing. However, her encounter with Viscount Juilan Alfred Pankratz changes her fate. Despite his youth, Juilan is ailing but recognizes Ciri's true identity and offers her refuge in his manor, promising to keep her presence a secret.
As Ciri settles in, she grows close to Juilan, but becomes increasingly suspicious of his deteriorating health and the mysteries surrounding him. With no sign of Geralt, Ciri can only hope for his timely arrival as she delves deeper into the enigma of Lettenhove.

There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.

He was vaguely aware of Jaskier babbling on, but he couldn’t focus on that, didn’t have time to do that. His mind was fleeting and he was grasping at whatever he could hold onto. Three things. Three things he needed to say. Jaskier would have said that was a lot, even if Geralt was awake, but he needed to at least try.

Petey talks with his hands. Mark does that too, when he’s angry. But Petey does it all the time, channelling his restlessness in a way that’s magnetic. It’s almost like he’s weaving a spell, every time he gestures and leans closer to draw Mark into his confidence, to the point where Mark half starts to believe his basement could be full of surveillance devices after all. He’d be a hell of a storyteller around the campfire; only Petey’s unsettlingly sincere with the old basement lightbulb flickering in his eyes.
Love transcends severance. Unfortunately, Mark Scout is afraid of love.
