Summary
A collection of one-shots that detail the lives of 1899 Arthur Morgan, his friends, and loved ones following the aftermath of High Time. Some of the stories will also provide some scenes in-between chapters of the story, to provide answers to some questions that may have been left unanswered.
Just so you aren’t confused, I encourage you to read at least the sequel in the series, as some of the one shots will be set in he middle of that story.
The title of each one-shot will be the main character of the tale, and the timeframe in which the story takes place i.e. 8 Years Later.

Summary
Set in an alternate universe, the story begins in a different time. In the 21st Century, Arthur Morgan works diligently as a game warden but seems to be having trouble in his personal life. Trying to find a balance and learn how to be honest with himself, he is swept into a discovery of dark secrets when he discovers a body in the woods. Most attribute it to a hunting accident, but Arthur and his friend Charles think there is something more sinister. As he tries to find the reason behind the series of killings, will he lose sight of what's important, or will he choose the life that is best for the ones he loves?

“I could die right here…” he whispers.
“That’s not funny…” He almost doesn’t hear her, surprised that she is no longer asleep, but once he looks back at her face, he sees her eyes slowly open, and is welcomed by the sea of glass in her irises. “Don’t be sayin’ that...”
His hand leaves her waist, travelling upwards to reach her face. His fingers comb back her hair as he caresses her cheek, their eyes locked with a trepidation in their gaze. “I wasn’t tryin’ to be funny, Beth. Just romantic.”

His eyes soften, nearly glistening, and his grip lessens, almost with an intimate tenderness as he places his other hand over yours. “My god…” he sighs. “It’s you…I thought you…” And he tries to pull you into his embrace.
You begin to feel weak, but you dig in your heels, stopping his attempt. “Let me go,” you moan, the words hardly coming out of your mouth.

Summary
When Arthur arrived where Eliza and Isaac lived he didn’t find 2 crosses outside, but instead a door smashed in, Eliza shot dead on the kitchen floor and a little Isaac hiding in a cabinet. With no other choice Arthur took on the responsibility of fatherhood and brought Isaac into the gang. Now a man grown Isaac has become an integral part of the gang and one of Dutch’s key enforcers much like his father. What does this mean for the gang with this one single change of fate? Jack isn’t a baby anymore. He notices things. Notices how worried Momma always looks. Notices how tired Pa is at the end of the day. Notices how they take turns in not having dinner, saying things like ‘I’ll eat later with your pa’ or ‘I had a big lunch’ or ‘I had dinner with the fellas at work’. Notices how thin they’re getting.
He decides to do something about it.

Reading through your eyes as a self-determined woman coined "Wolf," you will see how your life as a devoted daughter trying to save your ailing father is about to completely change. After taking upon a major debt from a gang for which you cannot repay, your launderer Leopold Strauss sends his best collector, an outlaw by the name of Arthur Morgan, your way.
As the foothold of Arthur's gang remaining as one of the most notorious and imposing posses fades like a setting sun, you will quickly find yourself amidst a dying way of life, all while you fight for the chance to start another with the man who believes he can never change.
