Summary
It’s ’a curious case of Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde’ except author decided to screw it up for everyone. We follow The doctor’s view (except when we don’t for plot reasons) and see his life get build back up and crumble down once more.
Alternate title would have been (How a man learns to be truly once more human, by sticking it to god.)

Summary
Making drunken bets with your inner demons generally doesn't lead to anything good, as Dr. Henry Jekyll is beginning to learn. Trying to fix a friendship with someone he hasn't spoken to in nearly ten years, attempting to keep his other half in check, and dealing with a deadly curse, all in a time limit of two weeks? It feels like he's falling apart at the seams. And things only get worse as his two best friends (and unknowing parties in his bet) begin to piece together that something's not right.
As the days slip away, Jekyll and Hyde find themselves in a desperate race against the clock. Every time Jekyll thinks things can't possibly get worse, they inevitably do. Can he keep his friends from finding out his secrets-- and, of course, stay alive?
One thing's for sure, Jekyll is not going to have a good time.

Summary
Jekyll had changed, he noticed.
He was always first to notice when it came to Henry Jekyll.
Why was he avoiding him? Why was he seeking out a strange, unknown, troglodytic man?
Gabriel Utterson didn't know. He also didn't know why his heart twisted with torment when he imagined Jekyll with another man.
...
a retelling of Jekyll and Hyde, except Utterson yearns with his whole heart for a relationship in a society where relations between men were forbidden.

Summary
Before the lawyer could offer protest he was pulled into a closet on the far side of the room, which from the sound of it was then locked behind.
“Harry, this is ridiculous--”
“Shhh!” Henry insisted.
“Why don't you simply tell Richard you're not fit to speak on matters of business?”
Admittedly that would have been the simpler choice. Perhaps it was the excitement of it, the way it reminded him of the mischief he pulled in his youth. Perhaps it was simply the effects of the gin clouding an otherwise brilliant mind. For whatever reason he had chosen this approach instead.
