Summary
This is (likely) (no longer likely...it WILL be) a full trilogy novelization of my conception of a realistic run through of Fallout with a Female Sole Survivor. After my first run through as a male (with a war veteran background) I tried to rationalize why a female sole survivor, as a lawyer, wasn't immediately "chewed up and spit out" by the Commonwealth. I came up with an idea. Then I ran through the game, with mods, as an RP run, with that reason always foremost in my mind. And because I have a "type" my Sole Survivors always wind up with Piper. Nora ended up with her as well. Of course.

Summary
Desire is not a simple thing; it spirals out in dizzying webs, into fractals and fractals again. Minthara makes her stomach go tight despite her ambitions, her cruelty, her single-mindedness—perhaps even because of them. She wants to see Minthara bloodied and triumphant on a battlefield, wielding shadow and flame. She wants to see her kneel in the blood which paid for her victory as she would at an altar, as once she knelt to Lolth. She wants to know what she would look like when witnessing a revelation.
She wants to see her happy. She wants to help her.
Everyone knows what a paladin should be. Hasdrubal is not so sure.

Summary
Metropolis has been abjectly miserable for the past two years, no one for Lena to turn to with her problems or anxieties. The closest thing she’s had to a friend has been her favorite Chinese place’s delivery drivers.
Lex had been arrested, Sam had left, and Jack had died all in the course of one really, really shitty year, and the year that’s followed has been exponentially more shitty. Lena’s glad it’s almost over, and that she gets to forcibly eject it from her life like a floppy disk carrying a PC-killing virus with her best friend’s help in a foreign country. Even if it’s a rainy, grey Christmas and New Year's in London.

Summary
Lena lives in a world of bright, indescribable colors. She walks calculated paths among webs of lasers radiating from every person she sees. She avoids large gatherings where the atmosphere becomes a dizzying mess of psychedelic flares and smoke, but she treasures every individual as the sum of their parts: the auras glowing tight around their wrists.
Her mother calls them “soul bonds,” a magical manifestation of the connection between souls that only their bloodline can see. Lena calls them “ribbons.”
