The only person ever able to truly hold Hermes down is the one who never would.
AKA Hermes is aromantic and pansexual. Charon is aromantic and asexual. They are in an undefined relationship wherein one generally never has sex (but is not adverse to experiment), one has lots of sex, mostly with other people, and neither are bothered by this. They love each other. They can't define it. It just works.
