Summary
John and Sherlock never expected to like each other after spending a whole summer forced together.
They especially never expected to fall in love with each other. Lucky for them, they're still teenagers and that makes everything easier. Or not.
A four-part series from the first summer to the year in between, to their last summer as teenagers and John's years overseas.

Summary
This series was inspired by my desire for a coherent explanation for Sherlock's many strange behaviours.
Set starting immediately post HLV, it focuses on the hunt for Moran, Sherlocks relationships, especially with Mycroft and John. It eventually moves into the struggles to deal with the impact of Sherlock's backstory, which is not a happy one. There is eventual parentlock, but even that is not straightforward at all.
Please heed the tags. However there is fluff, smut and humour too. Did I mention Mycroft is my hero? I have done so now....
Extract from review of this series by the very kind and generous rosethorn37:
"Ever wondered why Sherlock is the way he is?....Come tumbling down the rabbit hole in this beautifully written exploration into the childhood trauma of Sherlock Holmes, leading to a life of drugs, violence and sexual degeneracy...."All characters, apart from Wasim and some baddies, belong to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle though I doubt he would recognise them.....Events are original but springboard off the BBC TV series Sherlock, all credit and hail to the Mofftiss :-)
