La mort. Pour quelqu’un qui les avait étincelants de joie de vivre la dernière fois, c’était un sacré changement.
— Y/N…, résonna une voix que tu avais connue tonitruante, ou élégante, bien des choses, parfois imitatrice, mais jamais ainsi.
Ta machoire se décrocha quand tu baissa les yeux vers lui, et réalisa enfin.
— Keith ?!
— Aide-moi… S’il-te-plaît…
Dans absolument n’importe quelle autre circonstance, tu l’aurais entrer, tu l’aurais même pris par le bras, tu l’aurais emmené dans un fauteuil et tu te serais hâtée de lui apporter à manger, à boire, de quoi se réchauffer, un kit de soins… Qu’il y ait une tempête qui fasse rage au dehors ou pas, d’ailleurs.
Dans ce cas, tu laissas tomber tes épaules, tu soupiras, tu levas les yeux au plafond, et…
Tu reculas d’un pas et lui ferma la porte au nez.
