One of the first memories Izuku has is of heat. His tired eyes had opened to a blurry image of a woman and a man holding him so close, and an unnatural warmness surrounded him. That was the only good memory of heat Izuku had for most of his childhood.
A few years later, only being three or four, Izuku knew that heat was painful. It left bright red marks on his skin and it made mommy cry. There’s nothing good about heat or the anger daddy feels that brings it. Heat was painful and bad, and there was nothing else that mattered.

except instead of being faced with dinner and a warm hug when he came in, he was faced something that made all the bruises he had ever gained feel insignificant, the cuts on his arms stopped stinging, the constant buzzing of thoughts in his head disappear
He’s faced with his moms lifeless body laying on the ground
Or: inko is dead, Izuku is homeless, but finds the good in it all and becomes a vigilante. Aizawa just wants to know who this green haired 5”2 vigilante is, and why do they look so young???

Does it matter how an ending starts when the end is near? Does it matter who is there and who isn’t, what he endures or overcomes? Does it matter how hard he tries, or how much he cares?
People like Izuku survive until they don’t.

Izuku midorya was kidnapped by the military when he was four years old and forced into brutal torture and training in order to become the perfect soldier, they succeeded, he has a powerful and dangerous quirk, amazing combat skills, he feels nothing and doesn’t argue with orders. There’s nothing he can’t do. And now izuku has been sent to an undercover mission at UA where he almost immediately sets off some alarm bells in the teachers minds everything from his uncomfortably straight posture, the way he blindly obeys orders, little to no social skills to his incredible combat skills equal to those of most of his teachers and the fact the boy despite 14 is absolutely littered in scars, some of which look like gun shot wounds. The boy was a walking red flag.
An the teachers at UA were going to figure out why the boy was the way he was if it was the last thing they did.
