Tonight he turns eighteen, and as is tradition, there will be a party and then the Naming Rite where he gains the epithet he already knows he bears. The worst part of the night will be the socializing with nosy, gossiping nobility, but if he can get through that, everything will be smooth sailing.
...Right?

Summary
It has been several months since Noctis was found and returned home to the Citadel and he is doing ... better. To an extent. But bad days still come with alarming frequency, and when he walks there is still a gap at his side, a lost look in his eyes, that none of his family know how to fix. Because how can you help fix something, when you don't know what exactly is missing?
Then Prompto Argentum stumbles into the picture and suddenly that missing piece looks distinctly like the young teen's silhouette.
In which it's not easy, and it's not without tears, but one way or another, Noctis's wayward Heart finds his way home.

Summary

When Noctis is 14 years old, he wakes up with a blade of silver by his bed and one chance to change everything.
3 years later, Cor Leonis still searches for the missing, and presumed kidnapped, Crown Prince. When he finally, finally finds his best friend's son ... he discovers Noctis is not alone.
Noctis didn't expect things to turn out this way, not in the slightest, but at least he succeeded in one thing. He changed everything.
Now he just needs to learn how to cope with the fallout.

The person sighs softly. “It's a long story. You might want to sit back down,” they say.
Jason narrows his eyes suspiciously. “I'm fine, thanks.”
The stranger rolls their eyes. “Okay, yeah. That tracks. So, I'm from the future,” they explain like that's a completely normal thing to say. “I got sent into the past by an interdimensional being that feeds off of temporal energy, and no magic or technology can bring me back. They’re kind of like the weeping angels from Doctor Who, but they look completely different. They look sort of like hairless blue Klingons with four giant tentacles for legs.”
Jason barks out a laugh.

Twenty-one-year-old Tim gets stuck permanently five years in the past, right before Jason reveals himself to Bruce as alive, and decides that, since they can't return to their time anyway, they might as well make a couple of changes to their new timeline. But Jason is the only one who knows their identity, and it doesn't take long for them to realize that hiding their identity from their family comes with a few challenges.

Nedzu isn't fond of many humans, but he was rather fond of strategy games, one of which led him to meet a rather curious and interesting human with the username of "Greenbean." He found himself looking forward to their games, until one day, he got a shocking realization that Green was not only a child, but a bullied one, and suddenly he had someone to protect.
And if he taught the child how to take over the world in the process, well, he was Nedzu, after all.
