A message from Basira read: Sorry, John, had no time to tell you in person, but I was called by my leading officer. Needed to go back to the institute, seems like they have found something there and wanted to talk it through with someone who knows a little bit more about this damn place. I told them not to touch anything with their bare hands and better actually not to touch anything suspicious at all until I’m there. I will give you a call when I need you and Martin. Anything new? What about Elias?
John blinked and started to type the answer, using only his index finger – he never would learn how to type a message in light-speed using only his thumbs as Martin did.
Got some answers, but we need to talk again. His memory is fractured, he’s exhausted and confused, and he still looks like hell. I have to admit that I somehow pity him. But at leat he knows who he is now … was … he knows his name. And he nearly pleaded with me to tell him about Jonah Magnus. I did, and I will tell him more after a break. Need some tea, and Martin insists I have a sandwich. He’s too good for me. CU later?

Martin’s fingers dug into his clothes, his skin, but he ignored the pain as he faced Elias once again. „You asked for the Archivist, and here I am. Make your statement, Elias. Summary
As did the sight of the place where the Magnus Institute once has been. It was illuminated and heavily guarded by police and security, cordoned off with crime scene tape to keep urban explorers and treasure-hunters away. A cold fist clutched John’s heart as the Beholding made him see what was sleeping under the white marble rubble, beneath the remnants of the once so impressive, magnificent building. All that stuff from artefact storage. The vast collection of books and statements. And the labyrinth of tunnels that once was Millbank Prison, designed by Robert Smirke so long ago. „Oh God“, John gasped as the Eye once again went crazy, flooding him with impressions and images of destroyed artefacts and the things that had been sleeping there, bound to wood and leather and metal, written in ink on withered pages of cursed books, tied with chains and padlocks to coffins and cupboards.

Summary
Martins’s hand was still wrapped in John’s hair, and they were close, so close that John felt himself blush as he met Basira‘s eyes and her smiling face. His head rested on Martin’s broad chest. „Uh … hello Basira!“ He struggled to sit up, trying to pull his face into a plain expression, while Martin grinned at her sheepishly while he let go of a good amount of John’s hair.
Basira’s smile widened, although John could see that she was concerned. „Thank goodness, guys“, she sighed. „Finally.“
„Finally, what?“ John blinked. His mind felt fuzzy. Had he actually slept, deep and sound and without dreaming?
„Uhhh“, Martin said, seemingly he had lost all his eloquence as well.
„You two. I am not blind, y’know? Do you think I didn’t notice the glances you exchanged as I drove you here? The little smiles, and how you carefully tried to avoid touching each other as long as I might be able to notice?“ She sighed again and rolled her eyes at them. „Men. Let me take a short break, have some coffee from my thermos and get to the loo, and then hit the road back to London, will we?“

Summary
Elias tricks Peter into attending the annual Magnus Institute Holiday Party for the express purpose of making him miserable. This backfires when Elias comes down sick at the party and refuses to leave out of a misplaced need to protect his pride. (He does not make it out unscathed).
Basically just a LonelyEyes sickfic.

Summary
Elias had to come to terms on friday, that he was sick. The party was the next day, the meeting was in the afternoon. He had to power through, no matter what. If he finished the meeting quickly, he could go home, drink some soup, take some meds and sleep it off. He will just spend all Saturday resting until he has to leave for the night.
Then he merely will have to soldier on for a few hours and then, just then he could ask for a few vacation days to get better.
There was no other choice, he had to make due, Elias knows that he will get worse. No matter what body he possesses, whenever he is unfortunate enough to get sick, it hits him very hard. He surmises it must be some sort of drawback from beholding itself.Bookmarked by ShadowandtheMoon
