Summary
Succoria survived. She had been there to help raise Eddie with Riggnarok and got to watch him grow up. She may not have been the powerful demon she once was, but she was powerful enough. And there was no way time travel was going to stop her from rescuing her son. Doviculus had better watch out.
Eddie loved his mother, he really did, but she was a little overprotective sometimes. Her stories were always the best, though. But when he finds himself in the Age of Metal, he realizes her stories weren't just stories. Hopefully he doesn't get himself killed while he tries to find out whether he wants to stay in this wonderful land or find a way home to his mother.
And Ironheade is just caught in the middle of this mess.

Summary
Eddie has been having nightmares for a long time. First when he was a child, that had gone away thanks to his father and now they had came back with a vengeance as an adult. Fearing for his friend's safety, he didn't know what he was to do with himself. Thinking that maybe they were only nightmares but what if it had something to do with something more? A warning? Hard to say, but he knows this. He always stayed true to himself, even when he seemed to have lost control and everyone else, except Ophelia who believed in him, to have returned to himself.
Note: I didn't like how Eddie had full control over himself when he first changed so I came up with this while trying to keep to the story's main point, added a few of my own stuff in but the moment of the one scene from the game and afterwards is all my own. Hoping you all like it as this is my first fic for this fandom, let me know what you think.

Alas, none of them could know that a foreign shadow would soon blot out the stars and force Ironheade to load up the tour bus once again.
If anyone I know finds this, don't you dare act surprised. It's not like I've made my unreasonable love for this game a secret.
