Bruce was no stranger to nightmares, just like any hero they were a constant in his life, a non-stop loop of all his misdeeds and mess ups. Clark himself was familiar to the plague of nightmares which often left him awake and in turn making sure Bruce was okay but this night was one of those nights where the worst memories wreaked havoc on Bruce's mind.

Bruce nodded solemnly, as though this were the most serious negotiation in the world. "Pancakes an....nuggets."
"That's a mighty unusual combo" Clark teased. "But for you, darlin, I reckon we can make it happen."
Before Clark could get up, Alfred appeared in the doorway, impeccably calm as always despite the chaos of a blanket fort occupying half the living room.
