Before his thoughts could take over, Karl walks out of the bathroom, hair half dried and body adorned in the oversized clothing. "It looks perfect," Karl says, leaning against Sapnap, "thank you." They stay like that, taking in the space before them, Sapnap hoping and praying that Karl can't possibly hear the beating of his heart spike suddenly. Karl hits his hip against Sapnap's before making his way into the fort, grabbing the remote on his way inside.

“Can I have a kiss?” He held his breath, waiting for Dream’s answer, daring to hope he meant what he said.
“The world.”
Dream leaned forward. His eyes slipped shut, waiting for the press of his lips. They met in the tender grace of a flower’s petals unfurling in velvet glory. His lips were soft when they touched his. Warmth spread to his fingertips, as they curled around Dream’s wrist.
________________Neighbors Dream and George flirt with notes across glass panes, and suddenly it gets too much for George. But after Dream reads his future, he realizes how much he wants Dream in it.

It’s a honeyed tone, almost husky when the words drop—something that George doesn’t think he’s heard before, and he watches ivory teeth drag over black snake bites, fixated on the way a pink bottom lip moves hard with the metal piercing. It’s hard not to stare, gaze lifting to dirty blond hair and a small smile, features so tantalizingly perfect that they render George breathless. Eyes widen, the boys smile growing, and Sapnap’s brother was not meant to be hot, that was never a part of the plan.

Summary
Dream knows it’s expected of him to at least come out of his room to say hello, he doesn’t think he will. It’s probably painfully obvious that he’s unenthusiastic about the date. December is just difficult for him, the holiday season draining him a bit even in November. The coldness of the house even somehow serves as a reminder, it makes queasiness twist his stomach unpleasantly.

Dream has longed to have someone at his mercy for years now, to understand this side of him that wishes to dominate, but to say he's just a bit clueless is an understatement.
