Summary
Stede’s employees have decided to drag him along to a concert to cheer him up from his (supposedly) awful divorce. Instead, he finds himself anxious and overwhelmed, hiding out in a public restroom.
One conversation, a pair of earplugs, and a makeshift backstage pass later: Stede has found he’s captured the attention of the infamous rock legend Blackbeard.
Not that he’s complaining. It turns out that the man is absolutely lovely.

September 1991.
So, Stede's first week of college was a train wreck.
First week over, and he was already done. After spending the whole time, running from his childhood bullies, he didn't know how it could get much worse.
His roommate, somehow talks him into a night on the town, which also starts, just as expected. A disaster.
He was starting to take it as a sign.
Maybe he should give up, and go back to his overbearing parents?
Or maybe he'd meet a beautiful stranger, who would show him the best night he'd ever had, and change his life forever?

After an accident that could have been deadly, Ed has had enough. He knows the only way for them to have peace is if Blackbeard is dead. It’s time for an epic fuckery.
Hopefully Edward Teach doesn’t die in the process.

“It’s part of you,” Ed says, framed by the bright sky above. It’s so warm, all this light; Stede tries to focus, to ground himself in it, attempting to release the dark forest in his memory. “It’s not nothing.”
There’s nobody else here. Everyone else has given them space, a bubble to exist in together up on deck while Stede comes back to himself, and he’s grateful for it. He’s even more grateful that he doesn’t have an audience when he asks Ed, knowing he’ll tell him anything he asks for, “What do you want to know?”
And Ed, of course, answers, “Everything.”

He's known as THE beekeeper in town, always meticulous, always gentle, never too bothered with rules, expectations, or protective gear for that matter. Their meet-cute hits a bit of a snag when an incident at the concert threatens the nationwide tour Blackbeard and his band are about to go on, putting Stede under a spotlight he never wanted or asked for.

Despite having already gotten rid of him, the "ghost" of Nigel Badminton still haunts Stede. But luckily, someone's there right along side him to help him through.
