Summary
The first line is a straight stroke down his sternum.
The second curves out, delicate, to the arc of his ribs.
Kaeya draws like he’s afraid of permanence. Like he’s trying to teach the charcoal restraint. Like each touch is a question posed to a man who never answers until the last page of the book. He draws ribs, not bones but wings. Traces breath, not lungs but song. He follows the curve of Albedo’s collarbone like it’s the horizon line of something sacred, smudging with intention, letting the black seep beneath his fingernails.
“You’re still not moving,” Kaeya murmurs.
“I don’t want to miss any detail,” Albedo replies, eyes fixed on Kaeya’s face. “Every breath would alter the line.”
“You trust me that much?”
Albedo tilts his chin. “I trust you to draw me cruelly if you need to. And worshipfully if you don’t.”
Or, Kaeya learns that reverence doesn’t mean restraint. It means wanting, fully, and still choosing to stay.

"Where are we?" His voice echoed a little, even though they were in a forest. The girl tilted her head to the side, still not meeting his eyes.
"Where do you think we are?"
He pondered her question in silence, the only sound being a distant bird call. She finally turned to face him, her long, green tipped hair flowing over her shoulder like water.
"We aren't in the real world anymore, are we?" Albedo said softly, brushing his hand against a low hanging branch. It bounced under his touch, sending leaves fluttering to the ground.
Her only response was a knowing smile.

Summary
