After pretties and uglies came together, responsibility was piling up. And with Lou "demoted" they needed a new leader.
Ox was more busy than ever in Uglyville, and so someone has to step up and take care of the institute.
Moxy doesn't understand why she thought volunteering would be a good idea. And now to be institute leader, she has to go to leadership classes?!
To her surprise, the last person she expected to help her, became the biggest help to her improvement.

Lou helps Moxy study and learn how to properly lead the institute. His motives? Moxy doesn’t know. But she can tell that while he doesn’t have any friendly intentions, he’s clear of any ill intentions.
Believe or not. As resentful as he is, he doesn’t care that much about being the leader anymore. He’s already succumb to this whole place hating him.
But he does care about who’s taking his place.
He only wishes that it’s kept a secret, because he doesn’t want anyone bothering him or interrogating him every second he’s with Moxy, while he whips (not literally) the pink sock puppet into shape.

The rag froze mid-wipe. “You’re really bringin’ that up?”
“Damn right I am.” Angel leaned forward over the bar, voice unexpectedly serious. “And before ya go there—nah, it ain’t a sex joke. I just… wanna know why. It was kinda… stupid but also, outta nowhere?”
