Summary
Inspired by a short DnD Mythic Odysseys of Theros campaign that explores the characters five years after.
Ewan, a druid who was chosen by the god of passage, ferries along the souls of the departed. Five years ago, on a mission to the poisoned island of Skathos, Ewan and her party discovered the secret to immortality. But she followed her heart and her god, damning the King of Akros to a slow death. Now she returns to Akros to claim the king's soul, well aware that it might be the last soul she ever ferries.
Xerix is a loyal servant to the god of slaughter, Mogis, and has sworn to shit on anyone who follows the opposing god, Iroas. Which is why she has been hunting down her mortal enemy, the Princess of Akros, for the past five years. She has failed most of her attempts, but now, the opportunity is laid at her feet, and she will take it.
When the old crew from the Skathos mission reunite, they are pulled into a complicated and godly mess of chaos and order, love and vengeance, right and wrong. Will they be able to put aside past grievances for the love of their islands and gods? Or will they be damned to their endless cycle of violence and anger?

Summary
Sel remembered the first time he ever laid eyes on Nick. His breath had been taken away. Nick was the textbook definition of the perfect guy. He was kind, heroic, smart, handsome. What started out as jealousy soon gave way to a massive crush.
And just his luck, Sel would be bonded to Nick for life. He had been taught that the only thing he should feel was loyalty to his King. It was hard enough trying to control the demon inside of him. But trying to contain his feelings for Nick on top of that, something was bound to snap.

After what feels like an unending torrent of work, missions, and complaints from the professor about how his work ethic is slipping (god forbid), Scott is reasonably overwhelmed. He’s tired, underfed, running on too few hours of sleep, and a small gust of wind would be more than able to push him over.

"He’s taken aback by the lightness of the soda; the carbonation and the flavors are both not too overwhelming, nor are they completely absent. The sweetness didn’t taste artificial, and he quickly takes a second sip. It’s a perfect balance of everything that made ginger ale just so good." the greatest description of Ginger Ale. Best part of the story!
