Summary
Dean is thoroughly sloshed at a party, happy and relaxed, though he can't quite figure out why Charlie is laughing at him for saying Cas is pretty. Unfortunately, Cas retreats to Meg, and Dean can't handle seeing the way Cas blushes with Meg smiling up at him. So he calls an Uber to take him home.
While on the way there, Cas Facetimes him, demanding to know why he'd left the party, and Dean drunkenly explains it was just too much tonight, so he was going home.
Cas points out that the party was at Dean and Charlie's place, so where the fuck was he going?!

Summary
After Dean accidentally eats a batch of Kraken eggs (seriously, get Rowena her own frigging fridge to store her spooky shit in), he gets transformed into a Kraken halfling. The good news is, Rowena can reverse the spell on the full moon, exactly one month from now.
The bad news is... well, he's a freaking Kraken.
Castiel keeps him company and seems to have a particular interest in Dean's new... appendages.

Summary
Cas is back from the Empty, human, and convinced that his relationship with Dean is unsalvagable. Can Dean get his shit together in time to prove otherwise?
*
Cas felt his heart racing as Dean approached.
Then Dean’s arms were around him. Cas wanted to live forever in that moment of closeness.
Which lasted all of four seconds.
Dean drew away quickly, and Cas swayed on his feet, unbalanced.
Dean gave him two pats on the shoulder.
“Good to have you back, buddy,” he said, his voice flat and mechanical.
Cas was dying all over again.

Summary
After Metatron steals Castiel's grace, and Cas comes to live in the bunker, Dean spends a lot of time with him, sharing all of his favourite things. Dean can't help it if sharing things with Cas just makes everything better. Besides, it's Dean's job as Cas' friend to introduce him to the joys of human life. To teach him how to be human.
And if one of the experiences they end up sharing is sex with women, well... that's just part of Dean's job as Cas' friend too, right?
The desire is triangulated, the rituals are intricate.
*
“You know you can’t turn Cas into a mini-Dean,” Sam said“First, if I did, Cas'd be all set, 'cause I'm awesome,” Dean said. “Second, that’s not what this is about. Cas needs to know how to get by in the world. He needs someone to teach him how to just be a guy.”
Sam’s face scrunched up. “He already is just a guy.”
“But he doesn’t know how to be one,” Dean insisted, like it was an obvious fact, and Sam was a little dim for not getting it.

Castiel is the new Death. Dean can only see him when he's dying.
*
“You just show up out of the blue and then disappear again, before I can even say anything?” Dean rails at him.
Cas stalks forward, his sickle thumping along with his steps. “I wouldn’t have had to show up if you didn’t die .”
Dean’s eyebrows fly up. “So it’s my fault?”
“Yes!”

Summary
It took getting into Heaven for Dean and Cas to finally express their feelings.
Or did it? When Jack frees all the deserving and penitent angels from the Empty, Uriel reveals that there’s a significant gap in Dean and Cas’ memory: the first time they found their way to each other. It happened all the way back in 2009, when Dean was fresh from Hell and Cas was just beginning to have doubts.
When Uriel returns those missing memories, Dean and Cas have some reckoning to do.

Summary
A grand spectacle has swept through the land, capturing the hearts and imaginations of all who witness it; The Winchester Circus, a family show that boasts not only talent, but true magic. Their roster spans dozens of species, but perhaps their most noteworthy act is that of a fabled sea monster, a wicked kraken-like beast that does battle with the brave Dean Winchester every show.
What the audience doesn't need to know is that the beasts name is Castiel, and that he's anything but wicked.

Summary
“Look,” Dean grits, pinching at the bridge of his nose, “You’ve got a body. Your body.” (Castiel, not long ago: “Jimmy…his soul was not returned to me.”) “You’re gonna damn well learn how to use it.” The hunter reaches under the seat to jerk at the lever, sliding back the whole of the front bench and badly startling Castiel with the unexpected jolt of movement. “And, hate to break it to you, but this town’s really not that big. You just got yourself kicked out of the only joint that’s got the professionals at work.”
Dean twists to lean against the car door, pulling up a leg to lay across the seat. The moment stretches, silent and tense.
“I ain’t gonna fuck you,” he says, voice gruff, “but I’ll talk you through it.”

Summary
It's Thanksgiving and while Dean's never been completely normal about holidays, he thinks he can handle a few speeches.
But then, Cas stands up.
And it’s hard to describe the cold wash of fear that overtakes Dean’s body.
Cas getting up to speak—in the same clothes he wears every damn day—should not be a big deal. But there’s a familiar nervousness and earnestness on his face that Dean has only seen briefly before. (“You know, ever since we met and ever since I pulled you out of Hell, knowing you has changed me. Because you cared, I cared. I cared about you. I cared about Sam. I cared about Jack. I cared about the whole world because of you.”) And suddenly, the last thing that Dean wants to hear is what Cas is happy about.
