1. He’s got trust issues the size of Gotham.
2. He probably has, like, two kids. Max three.
3. He definitely doesn’t do softness.Until Nightwing gets dosed mid-battle with a new truth serum, and starts calling Batman Dad in front of everyone like it’s common knowledge.
(Or: Lex Luthor rallies a villain team-up, the League calls in the Titans, and a delirious Dick Grayson shatters the illusion Bruce has spent years crafting)

(AU where, at the end of his League of Assassins training, Jason decides to go to Metropolis for college instead of going back to Gotham for revenge. Things spiral from there. The title is so sarcastic by the way. There’s nothing regular about Jason Todd.)

“Get the hell up,” Slade ground out, slapping his employer’s face, being mindful of the vomit smeared on half of it, dripping from his chin. The motion revealed the heat radiating off the boy. The Arkham Knight remained motionless from where he was lying in a pool of his own piss and vomit. Dead to the world. His slow pulse indicated he was sick and wouldn’t be cognizant for an indeterminate amount of time. Slade followed the breathing exercises drilled into his head from his military days, trying to quell the anger. He had dealt with worse than parasuicidal contractors. Summary
There is a spike in suicide rates and Tim finds it suspicious. So he goes ahead and work on it. He investigated, went out to find anything that can help him, and compiled incidents.
The case have been taking up a lot of his time, and he's been loosing sleep on it. Not unusual with Tim's other cases, but for some reason, he can't figure out why even if he tries, sleep won't come to him.
Or,
While investigating a case, Tim is drugged with something that makes him unable to sleep.
Is it related to the case or was it something different? Either way this needs to be solved before Tim goes crazy with sleep deprivation.
