Tim was engaged to Kon-El, but they were never able to tell anyone about it. Because not long after they got engaged, Kon-El died on a mission that nearly destroyed another planet — an alien invasion that threatened to tear the planet apart. But in the end, the planet was safe. Kon-El had saved them.
But Tim knew the truth though — the price for saving the planet. And he saw every single second of it — he watched the blast hit Kon-El, every second of it. Slow. Cruel. And with every moment, he knew there was nothing he could do. He could only stand there and watch. He had no super strength, no powers, nothing that could help him stop this. He was just human.
