Offended by both his rejection and the way he pronounced “rather” with a posh lilt, Marina cursed him on the spot. Her spell was oddly specific and oddly sticky.

With his face buried in her neck, Colin murmurs, “Yeah, me, too.” Neither of them really let go, and he doesn’t want to read into it that much because—he doesn’t even know. Because he’s scared, maybe. Probably. Because he doesn't understand it and doesn’t want to.
