So Lance was stuck.
Stuck wondering why anything he did went unnoticed, and when it did, it was for the briefest moment. Stuck wondering what he could do more of, or needed to do less of to actually be treated as someone who was fighting a war.
Stuck wondering what he had to do to be seen as someone who puts meaning into everything he does, no matter how big or how little. Stuck wondering why his ‘thing’, his place was never properly set into place.
Stuck wondering why he could never finish what he started, and why that killed him so bad.

In an attempt to rid of his music block, Keith visits the Varadero beach house that used to belong to his parents as a source of inspiration.
He never expected that there, he’d reunite with Lance after five years.

His blue eyes are reflected from the little amount of moonlight coming through the front door, and all Keith can think of is how he used to lose himself in them anytime their gazes locked. How they would be so full of affection and adoration. Whereas now, they're wide and worried— yet no less beautiful. His heart clenches at the sight of him.
They stare, and stare, and stare—
Until the boy comes out of his stupor and is letting go of Keith like he's just burnt him. He stumbles backwards and almost hits over a potted plant in the dark.

“Wait, what happened?” Varian asked, stepping closer behind Rapunzel.
“They caught the glasses bandit.”

The infamous thief deemed "Glasses Bandit" has officially been stopped and brought in to the castle to be imprisoned. However, Rapunzel takes pity on the thief and offers to give him two weeks to change his ways before they imprison him. In his time at the castle, he works multiple jobs, one being helping the Royal Engineer with his work. The two absolutely hate it because they cannot stand each other.
