In the wake of Atem’s departure, Seto submits, however unwillingly, to the inevitability of therapy. There, he contends with the fracture of his identity and the looming shadow of Gozaburo’s legacy. What begins as reluctant introspection reshapes the very ethos of KaibaCorp while unsettling the walls he has meticulously maintained, through which an unforeseen and disquieting force slips past. One that demands he permits himself what he has long denied through stubborn ascesis; to be loved.
Above all, he must confront the unavoidable question: who is Seto Kaiba without the Pharaoh?

Summary
Seto, as has always been true, possesses no internal software that can override his programming to accept a challenge—especially when provoked by the Pharaoh himself. How could he decline his greatest adversary when, firstly, he begrudgingly loves duelling Atem, and secondly, the Nerd Herd makes several decent points?
Or: Atem returns from Aaru facing slim occupational prospects and no legal existence. Fortunately, he knows one man who can help his situation.
So, Atem duels Seto for employment.

Only two things mattered in Seto Kaiba's life: always winning and his brother Mokuba.
Occasionally, Atem, too.
No wonder he was a tad protective when those two (or three) things were in danger. He'd gotten used to expecting anything to protect them, but that… that had really been a low blow.
"Big brother, I like a boy!"
Seto dropped his coffee cup and stared dumbfoundedly at his little brother—even though at fifteen, he was almost taller than him—for a good fifteen minutes.
"Can you repeat that?" he asked, hoping he'd misheard. Mokuba was only fifteen, for goodness' sake! He wasn't ready for any kind of relationship!
"I like a boy!" the teenager reiterated, ignoring the look of pure terror on his brother's face. "He's cute, you should meet him, big brother!"
