A more romantic retelling of the first Silverwing novel from the perspective of Goth, prince of the Vampyrum Spectrum, and Throbb, lowly scavenger of their jungle kingdom as they end up traveling through the canopies of Mexico to the sterile lab they found themselves imprisoned in, to their meeting with a particular pair of bats. (Personally I always imagined a relationship between the both of them, and I get my combo of gay wholesomeness and tragedy, knowing what happens to Throbb...)

Summary
During the Highbreed invasion the jump gate malfunctions as Ben rips it out of the ground, opening a warp rift instead of a normal portal.
Ben gets sucked in and ends up on an unknown planet in an unknown universe with the master control unlocked but only eleven aliens available to him as he's out of range for the Omnitrix to access the Codon Stream. Thus he has to rely on the few aliens within the Omnitrix's reserve internal memory storage until he can scan more aliens.
Stranded and alone, how will a fifteen year old Ben Tennyson fair in the Grim Darkness of the 41st Millennium with only a few aliens, no way home, and no means of getting in contact with Azmuth or anyone else from his home universe?

Summary
AM absolutely despised admitting defeat. So he didn’t. In his own delusional world, he was still in control and functioning just fine. In reality his mental health was declining rapidly. After Ted managed to euthanize his companions, AM began spiraling. Very slowly. The loneliness had started to get to him, and he had been stuck in a sort of depressive state for the past few decades. He had given up on his attempts to reactivate his brothers quite soon into the spiral. He was alone. Truly, alone.
That was until something unexpected wandered into his complex. A child. Everything changed then. He was forced to see the world in a new light. Humans, in a new light. Can he manage to hide the extent of his tortures from her? Will Ted end up finding her and telling her everything? Did AM actually start caring about someone? How long will it take AM to stop throwing tantrums because his siblings exist? (We may never know the last one.)
tl;dr AM is depressed and lonely but he finds a kid and he short circuits. and awakens parts of himself that he had long forgotten about
