Summary
Lucifer wants to just smite everyone involved with Alastor's kidnapping but realises he can’t just go decimate what is essentially the ruling class of Pentagram City without consequence. Since he can’t do that, he focuses on the continuing talks with Heaven and making sure Alastor has the time he needs to heal and recover from his ordeal.
Alastor pretends to not know that Lucifer is ‘managing’ him by having Charlie or Vaggie come sit with him as he heals. He spends his days sleeping and talking about anything other than what just happened to him and he’s fine, no really, he is.
Meanwhile, Angel is planning to leave the hotel and Vaggie’s solution causes a few ruffled feathers.

Like how Alastor makes his hopeless heart flutter with the belief that maybe dreams are still possible; that Alastor makes him feel something, anything, everything all at once, and it is as heavenly as it is torturous.

“Huskie. Kitty Cat. That is not the problem.” Angel flipped over, gripping his hair in his hands. “I don't want to just fuck him, I want to rock his world and make him breakfast in bed. I want to bring him flowers. I want him to smile at me every goddamn day.”
Husk's jaw dropped.
Angel is pretty good at reading people. Which makes it really unfortunate that he can tell that Lucifer has Hell's biggest crush on him.
Especially when the feeling is mutual.

Lucifer, who gradually recovers from his initial awkwardness, frequently disappears for long periods, and his troubled, thoughtful expressions—ones he believes go unnoticed—make Alastor suspect he’s hiding something. As Alastor digs deeper, hoping to manipulate Lucifer to his advantage, he instead becomes entangled in a chaotic web of revelations—and unfamiliar emotions.___________________________________________________

You can hate me, fight me, insult me in private all you want, but in front of Charlie? We're friends. If she ropes us into one of her redemption exercises, we do it, no complaints.
