Summary
Alison tried so hard to find a new house without any ghosts, she really did, but it seemed the universe was against her. After the chaos of Button House, she's sure she can handle just one ghost, especially if she keeps up the front of pretending she can't see him. But as Alison struggles to come to terms with her new normal life and the changes at Button House, her curiosity about her new housemate gets the better of her, and things take a turn when she discovers that they have a mutual friend.

Summary
There were limitless possibilities for this reunion. Naturally, James has only gone and chosen the one most destructive to his own life, reputation, and Anthony’s sense of love and honour. Because if Anthony is to save for himself what James has sacrificed, then he is left with only one option. And a bloody awful option that is, too.
Or, how Havers (barely) survives the reputational bin fire with which the Captain seems so posthumously intent on destroying him, then buggers the whole thing up regardless with a massively, stupidly brave act of his own.
