Summary
He told her once, when she was wrapped up in a blanket and sprawled across his lap as he stroked her hair, that it was probably some sort of world record, how quickly he’d fallen in love with her. Because by the time his legs had taken him the six steps across the floor separating them, it was a done deal.
She’d laughed and made him bend down so she could kiss him without unwrapping herself from the blanket.
That was early on, back when he used to pretend he was allowed to love her.
----------
It’s been a year since he left her. It never gets easier.

Summary
Ben Solo has been her deskmate for nine deliciously frustrating months. He’s a little different. Not an asshole, just a tiny bit surly. But a really, really hot kind of surly. And he is actually nice—to Rey—when he deigns to speak to her.
But Rey hasn’t let a little thing like a lack of meaningful conversations get in the way of an all-consuming crush. Not at all. Not when he’s always been nicer to her than he is to anyone else, and not when he looks like a raven-haired god who was cast down from Mount Olympus and took on the identity of an unassuming architectural drafter.
Rey can’t have her deskmate, Ben Solo, so she orders the next best thing from Amazon. But what happens when her sex toy is delivered to her desk at work and she discovers she forgot to check the box for ‘concealed packaging?’Bookmarked by SpackleFace

Summary
Rey thinks of those heated looks she catches him giving her sometimes, the ones that make her want to run away and hide.
But, surely Rey is just imagining things, isn’t she?
Ben is...tall, and handsome, he has a brooding intensity that sets him apart from the rest of the boys in his year.
He is Leia Organa’s son. He was the school’s star quarterback, and he could have any girl in school that he wanted. In fact, according to what she had seen in the second floor girl’s bathroom, he’d already had most of them.
Any adolescent crush he harbored for her must be long gone by now.
Rey had been his teacher, she is almost 12 years older than him.
There are just too many lines that will never be crossed.

Summary
Rey shouldn’t care, she really shouldn’t care, because Ben from HR is a capital-A asshole, always finding a way to challenge her when they have interdepartmental meetings and giving her shit for not wearing a cardigan over her tank tops (it gets hot in her office, she argues, and if someone gets offended by her shoulders, it’s their own damn fault). The guy’s a dick and Rey cannot stand him.
And yet.
“We should invite him to join us.” The words are out of her mouth before she even has a chance to process what she’s saying.
“I’m sorry, are you insane?” Finn looks at her like she grew a second head. “You want to invite Ben Solo to our weekly taco lunch?”
or rey invites ben solo, resident hr grump, to eat tacos. things escalate from there.Bookmarked by SpackleFace

Summary
Rey Jones’ goal in life is to collect her paycheck while not doing more than the strict minimum at work. She doesn’t mind occasionally going out with her coworkers in the process; it doesn’t happen too often, and most of them are pretty okay people.
Ben Solo, however, is a colleague she’ll never get to know even remotely, as he always declines his coworkers’ invitations.
Susmita Warsi, meanwhile, thinks that if Rey Jones were to ask him out personally, Ben Solo would make an exception.

“On Friday we received a visit from a man and his lawyer.” Mr Kenobi opened the folder on his desk. Rey instantly recognised it, her eyes widening, dread filling her.
“What... what do you mean? What is going on?” She said, her tone firm. Whatever this was, if it involved her son, she needed to know the truth now.
“His name is Benjamin Solo. And he claims his son was illegally put up for adoption eleven years ago without his consent.”
