“Hey.” Mellow and soft, Skye’s voice rings gently throughout the room. “You busy?”
Sure, Yoru had been reading, yet as much as that contributes to being busy... he shakes his head anyway- the reading can wait. “Why?”
He watches as the woman gestures her head back, eyes still locked onto his own. “Thinking about sneaking out. You in?” Her tone is cheeky, and Yoru can tell she already won’t take no for an answer.
“You know we don’t actually have a curfew or anything, right?”

Skye and Yoru find solace in each other's company during the nights.

Summary
An arm shoots out, instantly finding its way to Yoru’s shoulder, jerking the man back slightly. “Oh, piss off.” Though her words are aggressive, her tone is nothing but amused, action holding no animosity as a wild grin formed at his words.
And for a moment Yoru is caught, almost entranced, as he watches the way Skye’s grin stretches between rounded cheeks, a stray dimple forming in the corner. Her smile itself etches into his brain, with a set of canine teeth poking from the corners of her mouth as her amused gaze falls away from him with a playful eye roll. As close as he was, the man could easily spot a couple of stray hairs that had fallen enough to frame the side of her face and he resists the urge to brush them away.

Skye didn’t know she was actually a part of the mission. If she did she would’ve dressed for the occasion. That's ok though, Yoru's got her.

Mr. Grizz huffs from where he stands, expressionless gaze boring down at the inkling. “But it’s time to clock out.” He starts in familiar monotone. “In a few moments, Earth will be ruled by mammals once again.” He persists, deep tone laced in finality.
Leering forward, he shifts again as a pool of ooze bubbles from below his feet, a low growl emitting from him.
Not. Good.
“What does he mean by that?” Shiver’s voice comes to life from the communicator, tone threaded in urgency; others add to the outcry.
“I thought we got all his weak spots. How is he still up?!”
“What’s that rumbling- ““No- “ A new voice protests.
Mr. Grizz’s arms raise swiftly, the action startling the Inkling.
“Agent three- move. Now!” -

“Sage, I..."
"Hm?" Skye refused to look at her, least she loses her courage again.
"Sage, I think I like Yoru!” The words topple out before Skye can stop herself, and immediately, she clamps her mouth shut, a slight blush painting her cheeks. “See? Not- not that embarrassing.” She groans out, a stray hand coming up to cover her face in obvious embarrassment.She didn’t miss the sharp inhale that came from Sage by what she could only assume was because of her words.
“What-“
“Yeah, I… ” Skye exhaled, eyes flickering as she cleared her throat. “Fuck, that was actually a lot harder to say out loud than I thought it would be, holy shit.” She could feel the heat spreading to the tips of her ears, by now impossible to hide the blush on her face.

But sure enough, there he was, standing in front of her after she made him promise, no she had to fight him to promise, surrounded by her Valorant team, and being called their newest agent.
