All the games they played are covered in rust-colored dust, hiding from the agencies and from Curt’s mother and even themselves, the panels of the swing ride of playful banter and swooping hearts moulded through, their varnish tarnished.
Curt doesn't kill Owen. Instead, he takes them both back to Ms. Mega's house. Owen isn't pleased.
