Summary
It was an intriguing story: An acrobat duo made an unintended spectacle when Mary Grayson abruptly went into intense labour, swiftly giving birth to a child on stage. And if that wasn't stunning enough, she hadn't been pregnant before that very moment.
As cases multiplied and word spread about this ongoing phenomenon, it became common for these spontaneously-born children to be killed in an attempt to be rid of their so-called ‘curse’. This superstition only festered as more stories circulated of these kids displaying dangerous ‘demonic powers’.
A surge of fury washed over Bruce as soon as he heard of this, and he threw himself into investigation. The more he learned, the more his horror grew - and the more that protective rage blossomed. His plans adjusted. He would still save Gotham and instill fear into every low-lying thug until they thought better about raising a gun.
But he had another mission, too - to rescue these children from execution and build them a second chance at life. From this sentiment, The Robin Academy was eventually born.
Or: Batfam TUA AU where Bruce tries to raise a bunch of superpowered kids - it goes exactly as you'd expect. Also an apocalypse is coming-

Summary
The first time it happens, Bruce doesn’t do a great job at hiding his surprise. It was only a couple weeks after Tim’s adoption was officially finalized - hyphenated name and all. Bruce still smiles to himself at the memory of reading ‘Timothy Jackson Drake-Wayne’ on those papers, trying not to choke up at his third son being the first to take the Wayne name. Of course that was never an expectation, but still, it meant something that Tim chose to take it.
With that considered, perhaps Bruce shouldn’t have been quite so shocked by the teen calling him ‘Dad’, but he is. And he’s even more startled to hear it declared loudly as Tim abruptly sprints towards him down the hall at full speed.
“Dad Test!”
Or
Tim starts a trend in the family of jumping at Bruce at random, increasingly difficult times shouting: 'Dad Test!' to see if he'll catch them. This leads to many shenanigans & then crash lands into angst because of course it does.

Summary
As soon as he lays eyes on the scene, Jason only has a single moment to take it in: Seventeen goons, most favouring legs or nursing wounds, but all still armed and poised with sinister hubris over a fallen form, which is bound and held roughly by two of them.
They’re laughing and jeering, one of them has a hand tightly gripping their captive’s hair to hold his head back, another is twisting his upper arm, and yet another is raising some sort of baton to strike. Their captive’s face is bloodied and bruised, lip split and one cheek swollen into the crease of his cracked domino, but he still snarls defiantly at his captors.
It’s Damian.
All at once, Jason finds himself completely swallowed by that roiling, green haze.
Or
AU where Jason was trained as Damian's bodyguard during his time with the League. So when the newest Robin recklessly sneaks out on patrol and gets badly hurt, Red Hood loses it to the Pit and slaughters the perpetrators. In this green-hazed state of mind, Jason's only concern is the safety of his charge, while Damian is far more concerned with making sure Batman doesn't find the bodies.

Summary
Jinx's reflection stares back at her through ripples and foam as she hangs over the ship's railing, and she can’t help the huff of shock that escapes her at the sight.
Who knew the good old sun and a little ocean air could make a rotting corpse look so alive?
Face pinching with a bittersweet smile, Jinx pulls back up, running her dripping hand down the inside of her forearm, caressing the vibrant letters that mark her massive, pink and white bunny tattoo.
“We did it, Isha,” she whispers. “We’re almost… home, again.”
Or - After nearly a year away from home, Jinx returns with a new companion at her side.
My post-canon sequel fic to that missing timebomb scene I wrote, but this time it's much more than a one-shot! I will let them be HAPPY, dammit!

Summary
This was it.
The electric energy already buzzes against her fingertips as Jinx wraps them around the pin of her monkey bomb. That rage and agony that once surged through her is nowhere to be found as Silco’s voice once again echoes in her mind, asking one last time: “Have you had enough?”
All she can feel now is relief. She answers easily, eyes blinking closed as she takes in one deep, dying gasp. It ends here. It all ends here.
Her fingers flex in the pin, she twitches to pull it free.
“Wait!”
Or - I wrote what I think happened in the timebomb scene that was cut.
Also Jinx does not die, because fuck that.

Summary
“Just static. That was just static, and nothing else. Too many horror movies. Never again. Never, ever, ever again.” I swore repeatedly as I flipped the breaker back on.
Light returned, and I could hear Dad’s printer finally going after a moment. Relieved at the return of my now-favourite sense, I turned back around to go find Dad and get out of there. Reaching the door, I took a glance at the bunny, feeling a chill as it seemed to be staring directly at the computer chair. Had it always been doing that? I didn’t think I wanted to know. Allowing my paranoia to get the better of me, I found the switch on its back, and turned it off before leaving.
“Hey, Ian! You up for a drive?” Dad called from his office.
“Yes!” I responded, a little more energetically than I would otherwise.Whatever got me out of the house away from this thing faster was immediately going to be my favourite thing of the day.
Or,
A kid gets a new roomie that's definitely not a dead child possessing an animatronic.
