A man had stepped out into the hangar, a tall man whose long silver hair was tied at the nape of his neck and whose face was turned towards the Ghost. Seeing that lined face, with the scar across his unseeing eyes and the silver beard to match his hair, was what truly made this feel like coming home. She felt a rush of warmth and hurried out to greet him.
Hera comes home to her family from a New Republic meeting, and Kanan makes the same teasing comments he's been making for forty years now.
