"Of course, you thought it was normal..." Akechi pinches the bridge of his nose, taking a deep breath.
“In case you haven’t noticed, we deal with all sorts of weird things on the regular,” Akira gives him a grin, rubbing the back of his neck. "So I'm a little taller," he murmurs. "It'll be okay!"
Akechi stares at him, deadpan with one hand on his hip. "Akira you are growing something out of your back."
What do you do when your boyfriend is concerned about you becoming your persona? Fuck the doubt out of him, obviously!

Summary
One year after he returned home, the Phantom Thieves are finally reunited with their leader and friend, Akira Kurusu. However, something is different about him. At first, the group is concerned when Akira begins suffering from seizures and even blackouts, but that isn’t all. Something is different about Akira; it’s clear he isn’t the same person who led them through the Metaverse and was at their side in their times of need, two years prior.
Between seizures and isolation, something is wrong Akira. It will be up to his friends and his family, including a famous idol, to pull him from the depths of his personal hell before he is lost to them forever.

“Wait, you are saying. Joker can insta-kill literally everything in this palace. WITHOUT using SP at all?!” Ryuji clarified in astonishment because there is no way there isn’t a catch to this. “Without repercussion?!”
“Yes. That is exactly what I’m saying.”
