She was silent and still, looking at him in apprehensive anticipation, suddenly less confident and more vulnerable than she ever seemed to him before. The darkness inside of him murmured, intrigued; here was a willing victim. He could take anything he wanted.

The Jedi believed in a prophecy that declared that a chosen one born of the Force would restore balance. An individual who would wipe out the Sith, those Force users who practice the dark side.
While the Sith had a similar prophecy, only in their version the chosen one would wipe out the Jedi and usher in a dark age.
Both sides, in their arrogance, dreamed of the other's demise, without truly understanding the true meaning of balance, without understanding that balance speaks of two balanced, complementary sides.
Everyone expects a chosen one when everything in the universe is made up of opposites, of equals.
Light and Darkness.
Day and Night.
Order and Chaos.
Sith and Jedi.Man and Woman...
Anakin and Lilith are best friends, both born on Tatooine, though they met through strange means. Until, by twists of fate, they had to part ways and go their separate ways.
In the future, Anakin as a Jedi and Lilith as a Sith, must meet again now as enemies, even though their hearts remain united, because as soul mates, both represent the two sides of the force.
And their love represents Balance.

The woman, Theodora, pulled away from the guard and the exit portal. She made her way back to the center of the room and stood before Astarion.
"You said the Szarr family is hiring? I am a Wizard Guild trained archivist." Her hands were trembling but her voice was determined. "Hire me.”

Astarion had spent 200 years just trying to survive under Cazador and the Szarr family. The thought of escape had become a distant notion and hope was a thing that died a century ago.

Through a heavily doctored narrative of queer reclamation, he's finally making a name for himself, and hoping to claim prestige (and maybe a few awards) through the leading role in a historical biopic about the openly gay elven oracle, Aerthwyn Capaxath.
The only problem is, Aerthwyn Capaxath is the worst person that ever lived (or died). Just ask Dr. Rosalie Frostsong, a thoroughly unwilling expert on the subject.
