Summary
Dry Nevada heat and the bitter irony of him becoming the thing he once cared for hit him in a dream one night at The Hazbin Hotel. The broken-wing bird metaphor for Husker and the way he loves others it is. I got inspired to write this after finding a beautiful new song to listen to today. I used to visit Las Vegas Nevada on vacation with my grandparents a lot too and the weather there was dry heat until it got freezing cold at night. It’s beautiful there though, parts of my favorite memories there are like mini blurred fever dreams of neon. I wanted to dig more into writing for Husker as a character as well as reaching into what I think his past could have plausibly been kind of like. Hopefully I can keep making little backstory coded one shots that are Husker-centric, but we’ll see how that goes.

Summary
The start of Husker’s internal reckoning, with Angel as the quiet catalyst, not the savior. Song “Man in the Mirror” by Michael Jackson inspired fanfic. Husker is starting with the man in the mirror and asking himself to “make that change”. He wants to change and stop it himself. He wants to make things right, or as right as they can be in Hell. He may have lost it all, his soul, his status, and somewhere along the way himself. He’s deeply scared and is what is left of a washed out dream or two, he let addiction overtake his life and afterlife thinking it could salve the hole in his chest. But there’s never really been any love in the bottom of the bottle. He’s tired of being a victim of a selfish kind of love. He’s got to move away from his own past way of doing things if he ever really wants to be capable of making that “change”. He's the one who needs to confront his own demons.

Summary
Title is inspired by a song called “Where Is My Husband?”. A running joke about Husker basically being like Angel’s husband and using his own power to be just as much protective as a true husband would be. Niffty is absolutely delighted by it and to Husker’s chagrin or exasperation there’s nothing more to do about it. Alastor even finds himself amused by the idea of it.

Summary
HuskerDust oneshot inspired by the 2 songs, “Sharp Dressed Man” by ZZ Top and “Pride and Joy” by Stevie ray. I was in the car on my way home from thanksgiving dinner and started writing when I got home. I feel like it might be missing something so I might add more later. Maybe something about another flashback scene from Niffty’s POV of seeing Husker back in his “glory days” as an overlord again. Who knows, but enjoy.

Summary
Angel Dust has spent years learning to dance through pain—beautiful onstage, blistered underneath. One late night, Husker hears the cracks between his jokes, the ache he never names. With old magic in his hands and Niffty’s careful craft beside him, Husker builds something gentle: heels that hold Angel the way no one ever has—steady, balanced, made to fit him perfectly.
Angel wears them beneath a red dress that glows like a heartbeat, inviting Husker to watch him shine. Under the quiet lights of a classier club, Husker sees him not as a spectacle, but something soft, something precious. Flowers bloom from Husker’s hat; danger is smited with ease; a new kind of warmth grows in the silence between them.
Wishing to return what he cannot say aloud, Angel crochets a sweater in Husker’s colors—maroon, spade-black, spun through with a tiny red spider and a thread of gold. Later, with moonshine on their tongues and Fat Nuggets snoring between them, they settle side by side. Two demons stitched together by small, deliberate kindnesses—by the things they make with their hands when their hearts are too scared to speak.

Summary
On a quiet night at Husk’s bar, a stray thought leads Angel Dust to ask a question he’s never dared voice aloud: what if all the pain he’s endured means he’s secretly a masochist? Husk, unexpectedly gentle beneath the sarcasm, humors him—then tears that idea apart with blunt honesty, reminding Angel that surviving hell doesn’t mean craving it.
What follows is warmth hidden in grumpiness, friendly banter soft enough to sting, and two self-proclaimed losers realizing they’re not broken… just better in each other’s company than they would probably want to admit.
Banter, vulnerability, tenderness under sarcasm, and that Season 2 blob-fish energy, but spun into something new.
Inspired by that lighthearted blob-fish chat energy we see in season 2 of Hazbin Hotel.🏨

Summary
Angel Dust and Husk finally blow up after weeks of stress — Angel overworked by Valentino, Husker forced into dangerous errands/dirty work by Alastor. Even angry, they can’t stop caring: Husker still packs Angel a lunch stubborn, Angel still tells him to get home safe. But when Husker comes back late from a hit job and Angel spends the night waiting alone in the closed bar, both realize how much they mean to each other. Their reunion is soft, shaken, and tender — with Angel flustered by Husker’s quiet devotion and Husker secretly proud to find Angel worried sick over him. A slow burn built on stubborn affection, small acts of service, and all the quiet things you do for love.

Summary
Angel Dust didn’t mean to fall for Husk. Not the grumpy, cigarette-scented, deceptively calm bartender who somehow manages to be kind, protective, and devastatingly charming without even trying. But the longer Angel watches Husk quietly do the right thing — with him, with others, with the world around him — the harder it becomes to deny what’s happening.
Through late nights, small gestures, and stolen glances, Angel’s composure begins to crumble… and Husk notices. Slowly, quietly, teasingly, the lines between flustered and fascinated blur, leaving both of them caught in the beginnings of something neither can ignore.
A slowburn tale of admiration, tension, and the small, intimate moments that make a heart bend — and maybe, just maybe, break.
🎵 “You made me cry, but boy, what a beautiful mess you made.” — Sabrina Carpenter, “Tears” Angel’s heart betrays him a little more. Until the night Husk finally notices. And the look in his eyes says he’s been noticing all along.

Summary
A day off in Hell isn’t supposed to feel soft.
Angel drags Husk out for an afternoon of drinks and chaos, but what starts as teasing banter turns into a street fight when a few demons can’t take no for an answer. Husk steps in without hesitation, and somehow the night that follows is quieter—washing Fat Nuggets, laughter through soap suds, and a movie in Angel’s room that lasts long past the credits.
When Husk blurts out a compliment he didn’t mean to think about, Angel finds himself caught between old shame and new tenderness. And somewhere between the clinking of glasses, the smell of cherries, and the quiet beating of two stubborn hearts—something in Hell finally feels like home.
A slow, sideways kind of day off — drinks, a fight, a pig bath, and the unexpected comfort of being seen. Angel and Husk stumble from chaos into quiet, finding that tenderness can sneak up on even the most jaded hearts.

Summary
After a particularly cruel day at Valentino’s studio, Angel Dust comes home with his makeup streaked and his smile shattered. Husk finds him alone in the hotel lounge, shaking and pretending he isn’t. What starts as a few gruff words turns into something Angel never expected — gentle hands, quiet care, and a rare glimpse of warmth behind Husk’s usual scowl.
A oneshot about exhaustion, touch, and finding comfort in someone who swore he didn’t care.

Summary
Angel Dust has a habit of pushing Husk’s buttons—half flirt, half test, all noise in the quiet hours of the hotel bar. It’s a game they both pretend not to enjoy.
Until Angel misjudges his balance, and Husk catches him before he hits the floor.
It’s supposed to be nothing—a reflex, a moment, a slip. But neither of them can shake the feeling of what lingered there: the warmth, the stillness, the heartbeat in the silence.
The next morning, the teasing continues, but so does the softness. Between the coffee, the banter, and the quiet honesty of shared exhaustion, something fragile begins to take shape—something neither of them is ready to name.
A slowburn glimpse into the space between a fall and a landing, and the people who keep catching each other anyway.

Summary
Angel Dust has been testing Husk’s patience all week — or maybe testing something else entirely. Between his flirtatious grins and whispered teases, Husk’s been pretending not to care. That is, until the cards finally turn, and Angel realizes the game he thought he was playing might’ve just played him.
A Hazbin Hotel HuskerDust Slowburn Oneshot — humor, flirtation, and the quiet shock of affection.
🂱 Fold
It starts like any other night — Husk behind his card table, Angel Dust bored out of his mind and looking for trouble. The kind of trouble that wears perfume and calls you “handsome” just to see you twitch.
But when Husk finally decides to call his bluff, Angel learns the hard way that not every game ends the way you expect — and sometimes, the dealer’s the one who knows all your tells.
A slowburn one-shot where a little teasing turns into something warmer, quieter, and just dangerous enough to leave both of them reeling.
A Hazbin Hotel HuskerDust slowburn oneshot — flirtation, tension, and the sting of being caught off guard.

(A Hazbin Hotel Alastor Backstory Oneshot — tragedy, psychological horror, Southern Gothic)
Southern gothic tragedy with a jazz-age flair, full of charm, decay, and rising madness. The warmth of New Orleans jazz contrasted with the slow rot of abuse, grief, and vengeance — all filtered through that trademark Alastor grin.
Inspired by the “Upside Down” song by Black Gryphon & Baasik. The theme — that eerie blend of charm, chaos, and tragedy — and capture the slow evolution of the Radio Demon from a bright young man with a golden voice to something far darker.

Summary
Halloween in Hell was supposed to be chaos, and it is — lights, laughter, and a duel of egos between Lucifer and Alastor. But for Angel Dust, it’s the first time he’s shown up dressed for himself, not for someone else’s stage. And for Husk, it’s the first night he lets his magic breathe again. The Hazbin Hotel throws a Halloween party that could wake the dead, but Angel Dust and Husk are both still learning what it means to feel alive again. Between spilled drinks, old ghosts, and a little accidental tenderness, they find there’s still beauty in what’s broken — and maybe even a spark of magic left in the ashes.Husk swore he’d never let his magic run loose again, and Angel swore Halloween was just another night in Hell. Neither of them expected matching costumes, a drink that glows red, or the quiet comfort that slips in when the noise finally dies down.
It isn’t a love story — not yet. Just a night where both of them remember how to breathe again.
Between the noise, the warmth, and a drink called The Dead Man’s Hand, two tired souls find something almost like peace — and maybe even a little magic left in the ashes. (hurt/comfort, tenderness, autumn glow, exhaustion and care) -

(A Hazbin Hotel HuskerDust Slowburn — tenderness, recovery, rediscovery of power and self-worth)
Husk’s old magic was never gone—just buried under dust and liquor. When it starts resurfacing, everything he touches glows faintly gold for a heartbeat. The others call it a parlor trick. Angel calls it beautiful.
But Husk knows better. Gold is just rot with shine. And yet, when Angel looks at him like that, like he’s safe in his hands, Husk starts to wonder if gentleness might be a kind of power too.

Summary
Husk’s mind churned silently. God, seeing him like this… Every tear, every shiver pulled at something he rarely admitted, not even to himself. Protecting Angel wasn’t pity—it was recognition. A quiet promise in the dark: I’m here. I won’t let anyone hurt you here.
A pause. Angel’s eyes flicked toward Husk’s hat. “You always wear that thing even inside?”
“Yeah.”
“Why?”
“’Cause it keeps people from askin’ questions.”
“Oh yeah? What kinda questions?” Angel grinned, reaching before Husk could stop him. “Like what your hair looks like—”
“Hey—!”
But Angel had already plucked the hat off Husker’s head, holding it just out of reach with a mischievous smirk. Husker sputtered, flustered.
To lighten the heavy air, Angel snatched Husk’s hat. Husk sputtered, “Hey—!”
Angel’s grin was mischievous. “What’s under there, Whiskers?”
Gold and dark grey hair caught the dim neon, soft and untamed. Angel brushed a loose lock behind Husk’s ear before returning the hat. Husk’s ears flicked. “Happy now?”

Sometimes, it’s not the flattery that undoes you.
It’s the truth you weren’t ready to hear.Bittersweet slowburn with humor, warmth, and a dangerous kind of tenderness.

Summary
💔 The Core Premise
Angel Dust comes home late, lightheaded and stumbling after another brutal day at Valentino’s studio. Husk, already closed up at the bar but still lingering—radio low, lights dim—catches him before he collapses. The reason? Val’s been pushing Angel to lose more weight. Husk, furious and worried, takes him to the kitchen. Angel tries to deflect, joke, hide how shaky he is—but Husk cuts through it with a simple offer:
“What do you want to eat? Anything. Just name it.”
Angel doesn’t believe him at first. Husk? Cook? But when Husk pulls out ingredients and starts cooking like someone who’s done this before, the walls begin to come down.
