Summary
Guided by his conscience and unsure of how to proceed, he walked back towards the dragon and yielding to his first impulse he started sniffing him, trying to find out if they were just unconscious or if he had already died. The smell of blood invaded his nose, it was one of fresh blood, nothing rotten or stale. Next, he made his ears stand and paid close attention to the surrounding sounds, after some effort he picked up on an erratic heartbeat, which came from the dragon. He was alive.
Unsure of what to do, he observed the dragon carefully. Some sun rays hit the clearing where the dragon laid and he observed how his black scales emitted a green colored reflection when the light reached them, creating a halo that gave the dragon a majestic mien.
Xiao Zhan had to accept it, the dragon was beautiful. He was sure he was a male since female dragons were slightly shorter and the color of their scales was always lighter. He was definitely a member of one of the armies that were battling to win the war for Heaven's throne.

“Nice,” Drunk Man says, into the crook of his neck, and does nothing else. Wei Ying slowly relaxes, allows himself to pat Drunk Man between the shoulder blades, and sighs.
“Okay,” he says. “Glad you think so.”
Drunk Man does not respond. Wei Ying wonders if he went back to sleep, and then takes a further moment to wonder why this always happens to him, why he’s always the one helping a heartbroken twink sober up after a terrible night out or sitting on the curb with a sobbing teenager with a fake ID while they wait for her parents to come pick her up. If only he was as shitty a person as White Mike, he could be home asleep right now and this beautiful man would be passed out in a gutter and probably mugged. Wei Ying looks down at the drunk man on his shoulder, thinks about leaving him to fend for himself, and sighs. Nope. Not on his watch.

Yibo couldn’t pinpoint the exact moment he fell in love with Xiao Zhan. If he had to put a moment to it, it was probably that very first day when he met him for the second time. Yibo hadn’t laughed so hard in… he couldn’t remember. The best part of it was watching Xiao Zhan laugh, too. His laugh was so genuine, coming out from the core of him. When he laughed his whole face lit up, his eyes crinkling, smile bright enough to shine out the sun. And Yibo’s heart just flopped over in his chest. It made him smile and laugh even louder, their laughter infectious.
Yibo fell in love with that feeling. That wild joy that came from abandoning whether or not he looked cool and just giving in to the moment. 'I’ll do anything to keep him close to me,' Yibo thought, that very first day.

Six years was a long time alone, but one thing that came from it was that Clarke Griffin had gotten very good at getting herself off. She had always imagined dark hair, freckles, broad shoulders, but now that he was back her body was rebelling. It knew what she really wanted and refused to settle. When she stumbles on Bellamy in her attempts to get out of her own brain a little, all pent up and frustrated, it's the least he can do to offer to help. She just has to tell him what she needs.
