Sometimes Katsuki Bakugo felt like he was running a race alone, and no matter how fast he went, every step he took got him no closer to the finish line. It continued to move farther and farther away, keeping pace with him, continuously infuriating and unreachable. It was on those days that he felt more like his old self, the short-tempered boy trying too hard to do more than he was capable of and slowly imploding in the process.
Today was one of those days.

All For One, in a stupid, desperate bid for victory, drags himself back to the first time he'd faced down 'Kacchan': Kamino Ward, when the boy was still one of many irrelevant faces (but still similar enough to Kudo to hate), thinking it will be best to just... snuff him out there and then.
Katsuki did not let All For One leave the present-future behind alone, and now the past has one (1) living and slightly off-his-rocker Kacchan, one (1) scared-shitless All For One, and many (many) very confused onlookers.
