Summary
{Bookshop AU} Jason purposely leaves a small leather bound notebook nestled on one of the shelves inside his favourite book store, in the hopes that a delightful patron will pick it up and follow the instructions inside. He doesn't expect to get much out of it beside the satisfaction of meeting a new friend in the weirdest possible way, but when said patron - Tim, apparently - picks it up and decides to leave Jason a challenge of his own, well, Jason's never been one to back down from a challenge.

Summary
Taking place after Red Robin #? (I have no idea, I haven't read them in so long.)
In order to get Vickie Vale and the media off his back, Tim had to fake that he'd been shot, and therefore could not be Red Robin. While he is "rehabilitating," Wayne Enterprises thinks it's in Tim's best interest, and in the interest of the company's image to hire a private security guard to "protect" the acting CEO. Dick thinks it's a good idea to keep things within the family. He hires Jason on as Tim's private security, much to Tim's dismay and opposition. The two don't get along, but sacrifices must be made in order for Tim to stay "safe." And along the way they begin to form a bond that neither Jason nor Tim could ever imagine.
So, basically, my take on the security guard trope!

Jason’s interest in crossdressing was more along blurring societal gender norms, but he’d been fascinated by Tim’s stories of just how he’d gotten to be so good at this. Learning from Alfred had been just the tip of the iceberg.
It gives Tim a small thrill to have Jason see him here, dressed like this. To appreciate the time and effort it took to make all this happen and not tease him about it.
