Tim awoke within a room that was stale aired, pitch black, and completely soundless. He was ill, and even if he HAD been able to move, the shackle around his ankle meant he would not be leaving anytime soon. As far as Dick knew, he was dead, and that put him at Jason's mercy. At first, Tim wants nothing more than to get strong enough to make an escape. But after a while- once he's truly gotten to know the former Robin, he's not quite so sure he wants to leave anymore. Or if Jason could take it if he did.Of course that's when everything falls apart.

Summary
It hadn't been an active plan to lie. It was just that- well, they'd had a role to play. One that had kept them safe. They'd had a system, and it had worked- not flawlessly, but better than the alternative. The thing was, when Batman had gotten involved, their primary focus had been to not get sent off to child services. To get the Bat off their back as soon as humanly possible. Batman had made assumptions- based off of what they'd been trying to intentionally project, and it was better to roll with it. At the time. Bruce found out of course, he was Batman. But the man hadn't changed his mind about adopting them- making them Robin, when he discovered he wasn't technically the /son/ he thought he'd brought home.
So they'd become Jason, and Robin, but were still also Jasmine, Jazz, Jay...
Batman's son, but Bruce Wayne's daughter... and they loved the man in more ways than one too, but B would /never/...
Then no one's child... Just Jay, the Red Hood, the crime lord, the mistake.
They died, the clown lived, and their roll had been replaced.
Hood wanted to hate the teen that had taken their place, but it was really fucking hard when Robin 3.0 just /got/ them better than anyone else ever had.
