She glared at him. “So am I fired or what? You can’t threaten me with going back to jail.”
Robert blinked, now visibly confused. “What? No one’s firing you, we just want to know where your head’s at. Believe it or not, but we do care about you. I don’t know if the past few months have been any indication or not.”
Something in Prism pinched. She kept her glare up, Robert kept his deadpan stare up, and Robert won. Prism shot out of her chair and shoulder checked him as she stormed out of the conference room.

Prism has always struggled to find her place. From singing in her kitchen to her family, to hosting impromptu concerts wherever she could find space, and now as a full-fledged superhero; Alice has always questioned whether being in the limelight was where she was meant to be, or if like everything else in her life, her situation was too good to be true, and she’d find yet another way to fuck up everything she touches.

Colm frowned at the sky. The day was too beautiful for how nauseous he was feeling. “No- yes? No? No. I’m not. Things are just going to be different now.”
“Different how?” Blonde Blazer asked.
“I don’t know, just different.” Colm’s frown deepened. “Me and Waterboy finally got a groove going, I’ve been showing the lad the ropes a lot. I thought that, I don’t know, I had a good thing going.”
“And Coop throws a wrench into that?”
“I don’t know if you noticed last night, but she’s a bit evil.”
Blazer’s frown matched his. “Punch Up, we just talked about forgiveness.”

After the battle against the Red Ring, Punch Up is second guessing his choice to advocate for Coupé be released. Thinking about her makes him nauseous, talking about her makes his tongue heavy, and for the first time since Robert cut her, Punch Up thinks the rose tinted glasses are slipping.
(Cut Coupé route, ambiguous romance route, just that Robert didn’t romance Blazer, Hero Invisigal ending. This game has me by the throat, Prism and Punch Up are my favorites omfgggg)Series

Over a year after the events of A Lone Star just isn’t Possible, the Astral Express is called back to Penacony to act as witnesses to an exchange of power between the Great Lineages. Unfortunately, new Stellaron Hunter Sunday has a script in his hand detailing a sabotage of the exchange and has proposed a challenge for the Family Heads: hunt down and locate the late Gopher Wood’s vault where he detailed his work with the Penacony Stellaron and how to jumpstart the still-deteriorating Dreamscape. The first one to find the vault gets total rights to the Dreamscape and gets to decide what to do with it. If they don’t play nice, who knows what Sunday will do…
In the middle of the chaos, Robin returns home for the challenge to throw her hat into the game to revitalize her home planet’s economy, but she’s not teaming up with Sunday, nor is she allowing the Astral Express to do anything more than witness. No, Robin has a trick up her sleeve that’s bound to upset everyone up the Family chain of command.

Mortefi’s proud to announce a new type of tacetite cannon he’s designed to be used in Jinzhou’s outer regions. With the unveiling of the cannon only a few days away, there is no room for error, only celebration. But everything is threatened when a group of Rangers pick up an amnesiac Resonator who refuses to be treated by anyone other than General Jiyan himself.
Mortefi can’t find a reason to trust this new version of Geshu Lin, but he also can’t find a reason not to trust him, the damned zombie. He helps out around the various Midnight Ranger bases, he’s genuinely interested in Mortefi’s work, and despite Jiyan’s hostility towards him, he makes active steps to be considerate of Jiyan’s position and is kind to the soldiers. Madam Magistrate has ordered the two Generals to play nice as she searches for reasons as to why the infamous Geshu Lin has suddenly come back from the dead conveniently with no memory of his own death or any events an entire year before that, so Mortefi does what he does best; he sits back, watches the situation carefully, and waits to see which General breaks first.
A cruel game, for sure, but Mortefi has never been more entertained. -

But Stelle kept trying the radio. She dragged it over to Boothill’s side and curled up next to him to try to siphon some warmth from his heater as the air became thicker from a lack of recycled oxygen. “Mayday, mayday,” she kept calling despite how her teeth chattered horribly, “the Astral Express has lost power and we have injured on board!”
But each time came with no response. Just static. Long, unbreaking static that swallowed them and sent them drifting deeper into the abyss.

The Astral Express crashes into a giant pool of Memoria floating along the edge of the Asdana system, affecting the crew, and leaving behind only Stelle and the new temporary passengers with rapidly dwindling options. Luckily, they’re saved, but Stelle and Boothill must return to Penacony to look for answers about curing this new-found Miasma Sickness. In doing so, Stelle and Black Swan dive right back into the Dreamscape, leaving Boothill and Robin with plenty of time to get to know each other, for better or for worse.Series
