That’s the moment where Cassie notices, and as she stares at him settle into Conner’s side, basically in his lap, and chat with Bart about strategies his team needs to use to win, she notices that he never tilts his head in a way that would allow sunlight to be cast on his face.
“Hey, Rob?” she calls, and he hums acknowledgement around his slurpee, still not turning his face towards her. Conner throws an arm around his shoulders. “Why don’t you show your face?”

Denki has a quirk accident while training with friends, injuring all of them and himself. He finds himself outcasted by everyone he knows. Recovery and forgiveness are long roads, but Denki doesn't plan on quitting anytime soon.
*** 5/29/2025: I am currently going through and updating some spelling and grammar issues throughout the fic, along with re-wording some things to help with the flow of it. I wrote this fic when I was 17 and in the last two years, my style has changed quite a bit in a way I feel is more comprehensive and I feel like it's time that I edit this. I'm also trying to get back into writing fics and I think this is a good first step. I'm hoping to perfect this as much as possible and make it worthy of the love it's received. Summary
Dabi stood over the dead body of a nameless person he just murdered. A whoosh of wings came from the entrance of the alleyway- it was Hawks. Dabi went to flash his fire, but sucked in a breath. Hawks stared with a blush. Dabi felt his heart burst into butterflies. His cheeks became red, but before he could say anything, Hawks flew away. And Dabi watched in awe, then sighed, knowing he fell in love.
After a one night stand, ten months later, he kidnaps his baby from a winged Inko.
The baby's name is Izuku whose the son of Dabi and Hawks. Though, Izuku and Dabi only believe that. Hawks doesn't know it... yet.

Or,Dabi, after a murder, encounters Hawks in an alley. Despite his villain status, Dabi falls in love with Hawks. Unable to express his feelings, Dabi concocts a plan to have a child with a woman with wings, creating the illusion that the child is biologically related to Hawks. The plan succeeds, and Dabi's son, Izuku, will eventually reveal the truth to Hawks through the Sport Festival and the U.A. internships.

The last thing Steve expects when he finally tracks Bucky down is that, not only has the man been living in Queens all this time, right under his nose, but also that, in the two years since they last saw each other, Bucky somehow acquired a kid.
Alternatively: How Peter Parker effectively fucks over Bucky Barnes, and also totally saves him.

Quirks aren't everything in this world, nor is your family status.
Animals are treated less than humans, even though they have the capacity to feel emotions and think for themselves. They're pushed away, merely because they're not human. Nezu? Heck, he's so smart, everyone's scared of what would happen if they got on his bad side. Half the society, at the very least, still think that he's just an animal.
Midoriya? No quirk, he's ranked even lower, less than human. At least Nezu still had a quirk.
At least, that's what they thought.
