Summary
Stolas decided to forgo the extra layers of clothing and stepped out of the bathroom while still patting his head feathers dry with a towel. He expected to find Blitzø in the kitchen, or perhaps at least lounging on the couch watching some horse movie again — but, no, that’s not what he found. Instead, he nearly tripped over the crouched figure of his partner, kneeling over the corner of some plastic or vinyl monstrosity spread out along the faux-wood linoleum and taking up nearly all of the free floor space.
“Sorry, Feathers,” Blitzø shifted so he wasn’t in Stolas’ way. “I got us a game to play, though!”

Stolas handed him the cigarette back and offered him a soft smile, the corners of his beak just barely twisted up. "I can’t offer a lot of comfort, I’m afraid, but I can offer companionship."
"From you, that’s more than enough." Blitzø said the words without really thinking about them, but he noticed instantly the change in Stolas, muscles locking as he froze in place.

Summary
