“An audit?” Aventurine repeated, leaning back in his chair. “Well, that’s for sure sudden,” he clicked his tongue, trying to act surprised. “Trying” being the operative word here.

Summary
This is an attempt at a new project I came up with recently, which is going to just be a series of short stories where characters from Genshin fight each other in semi-canon scenarios that involve duelling. Some might be fights to the death, some just a light sparring, and some the result of situations where neither side wants to fight, but ends up forced to.
Why? Well, for one I want to practice my fighting scenes, and another reason is that a lot of characters in the game have a potential for cool scenes and interesting stories with them, that sadly remains very unrealized by how little screentime they get. So why not give them more.
