Wade pulled down his mask and turned around to meet his new sponsor and the entourage, but the entourage was nowhere in sight, and this dishevelled, adorable nerd in a lab coat grinning at him could not be his new sponsor.
Wade grinned back. “Can you blame me for being nervous when meeting a cutie like you?”
Pink splotched over the nerd’s face, and his eyes widened. “Oh.”

Deadpool has been hired to gather information about Spider-Man, but he is a fickle bug, and the job is taking longer than expected. Obviously this could put him at odds with his favorite hero, but there's a shit ton of money involved, and it's not like his client would be able to kill the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Wade definitely has everything under control.

Now, someone is replicating the Green Goblin's old experiments and trying to transform Betas and Omegas into Alphas. Peter failed both Norman and Harry Osborn; it's his responsibility to stop whoever has picked up where they left off.
