While Charles was distracted by his charms and skills, he turned around and betrayed him. That gesture broke what little faith he had in him, and nothing from that point on could've let him regain that trust.

When the Triple Threat uncover a mysterious gemstone during a raid of a Toppat Base, they didn't expect to cause them this much trouble. Henry starts seeing impossible visions, remembering his past, and getting paranoid that he's going delusional. Alternate Timelines start merging into each other, the Government and the CCC are frantically scrambling to fix everything, and Henry, Charles, and Ellie are all caught in the middle. Is the Government hiding something? Is the space-time continuum going to collapse? Are the Triple Threat going to go delusional?
