Summary
Sometimes, it feels like he never really made it out.
When he wakes up at night, sweaty and nauseous and hurting, he’s there. When he only gets through 5 of his stretches before the pain gets him out of breath, he’s fucking there. He- it doesn’t trigger a flashback every time, but it’s a reminder, that his life has been so severely affected by the krang and there are some parts of himself that he won’t get back, some parts that will never be the same.
Maybe a little part of him died in the prison dimension. Never left, left behind.

“Sensei.” Came a firm interruption. He looked up, Jiro stood from her desk, tense. At least he thinks it’s Jiro- The other students looked at her with wide eyes, surely Jiro had a death wish, to interrupt so rudely. On a normal day, Aizawa wouldn’t have been so tolerant.
“Jiro, if you have a quest-”
“Your heart rate is way too low.” And that made sense because his knees are feeling significantly weaker.

The freckles that dusted his cheeks, he knew came from his mother. The ski slope nose also belonged to his mother, but the boy’s sharp cheekbones and jaw line were Spy’s. But what was his son doing here of all places?
