Summary
Luci is a witch - Lila is her shadow, kind of, but mainly her best friend. Together, the two can take on the world.
Sun and Moon are the Daycare Attendant, plain and simple. They're strange AI brothers, mechanical twins, sharing the same world.
Luci is a runaway and homeless. Lila is a ghost with amnesia. It's complicated.
Sun and Moon were infected with a virus six months ago. It's complicated.
Luci and Lila are looking into recovering Lila's memory - particularly, solving the mystery of her death.
Sun and Moon got better, but the more they look, the more the duo suspect that everyone else didn't.
Honestly, though? Lila is more concerned about finding safe places for Luci to sleep than remembering how she died. Anything else can wait.
Honestly, though? The children's safety and care are the Daycare Attendant's number one priority. Anything else can wait.
Until it can't wait anymore. When the mysteries hiding in the Pizzaplex threaten the safety of children trapped inside, when Luci and Lila make the mistake of sleeping there overnight, there is no choice but to uncover the truth.

Summary
It took a few minutes for Evan to muster up the courage, but he had no reason to think Gregory would react poorly. Unless this was some elaborate trap…
But if it wasn’t… if Gregory’s simple kindness was genuine…
“I’m Evan,” he finally whispered, sniffling.
(Or, Evan Afton is bullied and lonely and really didn't expect the new kid to change that. Gregory lives to defy expectations. And to punch people. He lives for that, too.)

Summary
Adam Young was meant to be the Anti-Christ. His entire purpose was to cause the end of the world. In many ways, he was the Chosen One, albeit for a rather dark path. But he was raised completely human and normal, without any unusual expectations of him beyond being a regular boy. He remained unaware of his heritage or destiny until the very end. And though he was chosen, he did not accept his role and rejected it and his connection to Lucifer.
Warlock Dowling was not chosen. He was born as an ordinary child, with no special skills or powers. He should have lived an average life. But he was raised with certain Expectations. Occult and ethereal entities Expected him to be the Anti-Christ. He was not chosen or fated for such a role, but reality tends to bend a little when angels and demons have Expectations.
In the end, it is just a series of choices.

The apocalypse may have been averted, but not everyone is relieved. Heaven and Hell may not believe that they can execute the traitors, but they also cannot let Aziraphale and Crowley go unpunished. Unfortunately for them, two not-quite-so-normal boys have some rather strong opinions on the topic.
