The boy frowned harder, sword raising to point directly at Legend’s face. “Your kind don’t leave the forests,” he squinted suspiciously, stepping further into the cave. “What are you doing in here?”
“It’s, uuuuuh,” Legend scrambled for words, panic flashing through his brain. “Secret!” He blurted. “To everybody,” he tacked on. Yes. Perfect. It wasn’t half of what he’d meant to say, but it worked. Excellent sentence structure too, all things considered.
Legend gets shunted back in time. Legend needs to hide. Legend has a ring for that.

Summary
For the first time in a long time, the portals drop the chain in a land that none of them recognize. The sky is swirling with shades of purple and blue, the grass is a pale periwinkle, and the birds in the trees are bubblegum pink with three blinking eyes.
Or at least, none of them recognize the land until Legend recovers from the portal, looks around, and curses loudly.
A slightly misplaced portal brings the chain to Lorule. In the process of returning to Hyrule, the other heroes learn far more about Legend than they were expecting to.

Twilight feels uncomfortable wearing his zora armor around the Zora's Domain in Wild's Hyrule. He knows it's because Wild's zora hold the armor in high regard, where it's a gift from their princess to the one they love. But Twilight's armor isn't like that. It was a gift, sure, but there were no romantic strings attached. Unless there's something he doesn't know about: a detail hidden in the records of zora history, and a truth that Time had been avoiding until now.
