Summary
The plane ticket back to Korea felt more dangerous than any weapon Na Baekjin had ever held.
After the fall of the Union, he was given a chance to escape and never look back. And five years ago, he took the money and ran, leaving everything behind.
All the violence.
His past.
Park Humin.
Five years later, he finds himself back in his hometown with a medical school acceptance letter, a suitcase full of things he never unpacked, and the sinking feeling that he might have stayed away for too long.
(Coming home was never part of the plan. Neither was finding out that Baku never stopped leaving his door open for him.)

Lucifer’s own sporadic giggling filled the air — breathy and borderline manic, overcompensating for the awkwardness he must feel — but Alastor’s brain only had one thought:
Adorable.
There was an urge, insistent and demanding and Alastor didn’t fight it — didn’t think — as he leaned forward…
Grabbed Lucifer’s arm —
— and clamped his jaw around his bicep.
OR, 5 times Lucifer set off Alastor’s cuteness aggression, and 1 time Alastor set off Lucifer’s

If asked, Alastor would have said he would never relinquish control when it came to culinary pursuits. The kitchen was his domain in the hotel and the suggestion of sharing it with anyone was liable to get that fool dismembered.
Except...he finds he doesn't really mind sharing the space with one Lucifer Morningstar. And maybe his feelings are getting complicated along the way, but he's the Radio Demon. Feelings don't have a place in the kitchen.
Until they do.

Summary
After everything went wrong in Seoul, Baku ran away to a tiny island and spent six years working night shifts at a convenience store, trying to forget.
It was working pretty well until Na Baekjin walked through his door on a rainy night — which would be fine, except Baekjin has been dead for eight years.Turns out faking your death is easier than Baku thought, and now his former friend is back, looking for a place to hide and maybe figure out how to live again.
The problem is, Baku's already built a quiet life on Jindo Island, complete with a antisocial cat and a routine that keeps the nightmares away.
But Baekjin always was good at disrupting his plans.
A story about healing in small increments, falling in love with ordinary moments, and discovering that sometimes the best way to build a future is one convenience store shift at a time.
