Dream allowed his attention to drift away from the news reporter as she moved on to another news story, popping his back from where he sat on the couch and humming thoughtfully.
"What's this about Fleur?" George asked from the armchair in the corner. Currently, the short brit was staying with Sapnap and him in their house in Florida, easing himself into their living dynamic with extended stays every so often. It was just poor luck that he was stuck with them until the planes started flying again, since no doubt if the hurricane was as bad as they predict - or God forbid, worse - there wouldn't be any flights, or maybe even roads, open until they were in the clear.
Or, DTeam stuck in the house til a hurricane passes + Dream with the flu = Angst w/ fluff and comfort teehee :)

Summary
After George's arrival in America and Dream’s face reveal, their first trip to the mall together turns out to be a little too much for Dream to handle. Sometimes he could get too many inputs plugged into his brain, and he would kind of stop responding. It’s up to George and Sapnap to make sure he gets away from the things overloading his senses, to somewhere he can process the events of the afternoon… and also his feelings for George.

Anxiety swirled in the bottom of his gut. This was going to bother him, he knew so. He hated it, the idea he was a nuisance to his friends. It terrified him. He came into the kitchen for food, not to be bombarded by the burning thoughts of "Your Annoying, a bother, repulsive".

Dream has certain impulses that George and Sapnap come to find are slightly annoying. Dream can sense the annoyance, and his social anxiety makes the realization 10x worse.
Take this as platonic or romantic, couldn't really care. Just adding the romantic tags just in case :)
